Decompression Sickness and EVA Risk Modeling We develop predictive models of decompression sickness risk for EVA, integrating physiology, prebreathe protocols, and mission-specific operational constraints. AI-Enabled Decision Support for EVA Operations We design decision-support systems that combine physiological modeling and optimization to support EVA planning, execution, and anomaly response. Wearable Physiological Monitoring We develop wearable sensing systems, including bioimpedance-based approaches, for continuous monitoring of crew physiology in spaceflight environments. Radiation Modeling and Shielding for Spaceflight We use computational modeling to evaluate radiation exposure and assess passive and active shielding strategies for long-duration missions. Cardiopulmonary Systems Modeling in Altered Gravity We model cardiovascular and respiratory dynamics in altered-gravity environments to understand adaptation and inform countermeasure design.
