Join the Lab
We recruit graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who want to work on hard, consequential problems in human spaceflight. Our projects sit at the intersection of physiology, systems engineering, computation, and operations.
What you will work on
- Decompression sickness risk modeling for EVA operations
- AI-enabled decision support for extravehicular activity
- Wearable sensing and physiological monitoring
- Radiation transport and shielding analysis
- Cardiopulmonary systems modeling
What we look for
- Strong quantitative preparation
- Comfort with open-ended technical problems
- Interest in human spaceflight, bioastronautics, or systems analysis
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration
We value students from aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, physiology, computer science, and related disciplines. Prior spaceflight experience is not required.
